Beryl Thomas-McClary is an experienced attorney, community advocate, and longtime Central Florida resident who has spent her career standing up for families and protecting the rights of others.

With more than three decades of legal experience, Beryl has built a respected career as a trial attorney representing individuals and families across Orange County. She has handled hundreds of cases and more than 350 jury trials, earning a reputation as a strong advocate who works tirelessly to ensure people receive fair treatment under the law.

Beryl began her legal career after graduating from the University of Florida, where she later earned her law degree. She went on to practice law in both state and federal courts and has spent decades helping clients navigate complex legal challenges.

Raised in Leesburg, Florida, Beryl learned the value of hard work and determination from her parents at an early age. Those values guided her path through higher education, into the legal profession, and eventually to building her own law practice serving the Orlando community.

Throughout her career, Beryl has been driven by a commitment to fairness and justice—often advocating for people facing difficult circumstances and working to ensure their voices are heard.

Beyond her legal work, Beryl is also a wife, mother, and author who believes strongly in the importance of family, community, and opportunity. She and her husband, musician Thomas McClary, have raised a large family together and remain deeply connected to the Central Florida community.

Today, Beryl is running for Orange County Commissioner for District 7 to bring her experience, leadership, and commitment to service to local government.

She believes District 7 deserves leadership that prioritizes infrastructure that keeps up with growth, safe neighborhoods, and strong community programs for youth and seniors.

Beryl is committed to listening to residents, working collaboratively with community leaders, and ensuring District 7 continues to grow in a way that benefits families, businesses, and future generations.
